Michelle Reader works with galleries, schools, community groups and arts organisations as a freelance artist educator. She specialises in recycled sculpture through the use of found materials and household waste, and the creation of installations or interactive environments.

She has created cardboard cities, as well as life-size figures, dragons, underwater environments, insects, riverside wildlife and more.

Michelle also runs inset sessions/CPD for teachers and other adults.

Michelle has worked regularly with Bamboozle Theatre Company (see Scenography page), creating theatrical environments and making props during week-long residencies in theatres and schools.  This involves developing narratives and running workshops for children with special educational needs.
